2 A Visit to NIAGARA COLLEGE - Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus (38 Snapshots)

We visited this Niagara-on-the-lake campus the other day, for a few graduations, and was really impress by the open atmosphere within the college as well as it's surrounding beauty!

The Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus was opened in 1998.  The three-story educational facility, boasting a state-of-the-art greenhouse centre, The Niagara Culinary Institute and it's 100-seat dining room and the Niagara College Teaching Winery, is located at the base of the Niagara Escarpment, a World Biosphere Reserve.

The new facility features food preparation laboratories, a 100-seat dining room, a Wine-tasting lab and the Niagara College Teaching Winery – the first commercial teaching winery in Canada. The Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus is known for its state-of-the-art facilities, "living labs” for environmental, horticulture, hospitality and tourism, and business programs. It is also home to the Centre for Advanced Visualization, which applies virtual reality technology to projects from around the world.

All colleges have to have a campus store.. right? lol

And if we were lost at any time, we loved the fact that we could use one of these interactive maps that were located throught the campus.  It would tell you where you were now, and how to get to where you want to be.

Outside - the parking lot.  More than enough parking, lol. And this was just one side.... the back of the college

Handicap parking of course... first 3 spaces and behind.  They are much wider than the regular spaces.

Ok, so this was where the graduations were taking place, in their cafeteria, which was turned into a make-shift auditorium, lol.  And let me tell you, there were alot of graduations going on all week from different schools all over the Niagara region.

And you have to also have a Tim Horton's shop of course, lol....

More breathtaking scenery looking outside from inside....

Front of the college....  nothing too special, lol.

Thanks for viewing!
