1 Sani-Resort - Halkidiki, GREECE (41 Snapshots)

More daydreaming of warmth, sunshine and sand... Sorry, we don't do winter well!

Sani Resort is situated on the magnificent Kassandra peninsula, the first of the three beach-fringed peninsulas of Halkidiki. Sani overlooks Mount Olympus and is close to the glorious but unspoiled beaches of the Sithonia peninsula.

Here we stayed at the Porto Sani Village back in September of 2010, and the service, sun and scenery were all excellent!  It is also a great family resort for those who have kids!

What can we say?  The pool areas were clean and the sun beds - comfy!

The pool area was fabulous - especially for children. There were many toys and inflatables provided for the kids and the 'kiddies' pool was shallow enough for them to walk around in!

The rooms were quite clean, comfortable and spacious and contained 'black-out' blinds which was great if you wanted to lay down for a nap in the afternoon!

Big suite with 'n espresso and wine :)

One of the mega boats pulling out, to just park 500m off the beach.

Porto Sani Village Private Beach

Beautiful clean beaches - we've never seen beaches so perfect!

Another beautiful day winding down..

Sunsets - no matter where, are always beautiful aren't they?

Everything is just as beautiful at night...

Now for the best part - the food!
Breakfast time...

They have a baker come in at night and make croissants. Impact = devastating!

Croque-Madame - the daily breakfast, and also how-to-gain-10lbs-in-1week!

Later that evening and subsequent evenings...

Not your average Greek salad! Now THAT's a Greek salad!

Caesar Salad!

Sorry, haf the food we can't remember... it's been awhile.

Mushroom and Haloumi Cheese

We think this was lamb done 3 ways!

We think this was chicken teriyaki... chef here was michelin trained!

This was a cheese based desert in a hand blown candy vessel

One last pic...

The indoor pool incase for some reason you did not want to be outside!
